Winter Wonderland @ Yellowknife, Canada. Day 4 --- Frozen.

With our departing flight being in the late evening, we had a leisurely last day in Yellowknife. After returning the rented winter clothing to the aurora hunting tour staff, who came to our hotel to pick up the items, we had free time for the good part of the day.

One thing in our schedule for the day was the lunch that we had booked at Bullock's Bistro. The popular restaurant is located in the Old Town of Yellowknife.  Had it been in the summer, we might well have gone there from the hotel on foot. But  with the freezing winter temperature, we opted to take a taxi instead. We arrived ahead of time to look around the area first.

The premises of Bullock's Bistro took the form of a small hut. One outside wall of the hut was painted a vivid light blue colour. The writings left by past customers' on the entrance door were an indication that the restaurant was genuinely customer-friendly. Stepping inside, more of the writings could be seen, literally everywhere, on the walls of course, and even on tables, benches and the ceiling fan. Several fish dishes were on the menu, including whitefish, lake trout and arctic char.  It was a very enjoyable lunch.

After lunch, we took a taxi and asked the driver to drive a bit around town before going back to the hotel.
